I took a selective course about Confucian when I was in college. The Doctrine of the Mean is the core in Confucian. Actually, commerce doesn't offend Confucian very much. I remembered that my teacher told us that many successful entrepreneurs read the Doctrine of the Mean and applied it into their business and finally they achieved great success.
