About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Hello!

I am holding a Malaysia passport and a Singapore student pass which allows me to stay and study in Singapore.

I have planned for a 3-month trip in China, and applied for 90 days double-entry L visa in the China Embassy in Singapore, but got rejected, instead the officer offered me 6 months multiple-entry, each entry with 30 days validity.

I think it is difficult for me to go to HongKong twice when my visa almost expire and re-enter China again. Is it possible to extend my visa in China for up to 90 days?

Thank you. Appreciate your kind reply =)

yes, you can go to the local Exit & Enter Department under the local Public Security Bureau to apply for extension of stay duration, however, your multiple entry visa will be changed into singel entry visa.
