hi everyone ! my passport will be expired on 1 nov 2010.

Question

Hi everyone ! my passport will be expired on 1 nov 2010. China security bureau is giving visa till 1 nov2011 But i need till 30 dec 2010 .International rule is if someone have passport validity  more than 6 months they can get visa for whole year. Infact in Jan 2010 i am going back to Pakistan then i make new passport and attach it with old one . so is it possible or not ?

I'm confused by your statement, your passport will be expired on 1 nov 2010, then you can't get a visa valid till 1 nov 2011. When you apply for Chinese visa, your passport should be valid for at least 6 months. If you want to get a one year visa, your passport should be valid for at least 18 months.
