About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I am a Filipino and is currently working in Singapore, holding an employment pass. I have a scheduled holiday trip on February in Beijing, but i heard this news that China embassy temporarily doesn't issue Visa on Filipinos unless they are going for a business trip. How true is this?

I haven't heard this news, you can call the Chinese embassy or go to the embassy in person to verify it.
