Question

Hi, its my first time to Shanghai. Can I check how best to reach Asset Hotel Shanghai from the airport? Am touching down at abt 6 am. Am also keen to visit the surrounding water towns as well as Hangzhou/Suzhou. Should I join a tour or can I explore on my own? Which is the recommended water town? Will be in Shanghai for 5 days.Many thanks.

Transport from Pudong Airprot to the hotel:Take Airport Shuttle Bus Line 3, get off at Xujiahui/Tian Ping Rd.（RMB 18）, and walk 15 minutes toward Wan Ping Rd. There are many famous water towns nearby Hangzhou and Suzhou, such as Xitang, Zhouzhuang, Wuzhen, Tongli, etc. The nearest water town to Shanghai should be Zhujiajiao. I have been to Xitang before by myself. If you travel alone, you need to collect a lot of information in advance.
