From what I read, one entry is valid for 3 months so dual entries for 6 months? so is it possible to get one entry for 6months visa?

It depends on your passport; however, American, Australian, and Canadians are only getting 15 day tourist visas now! China is getting much stricter. There is one company in Macau that is getting 12 month multiple entry visas to China. I would give them a call 853-6216 8900 (in Macau) or 86-1534486 8900 (in China) email: gmail.com|chinavisamacau

This is the only company I know of in HK or Macau that can get a long term multiple entry visa
