I'm planning to bring my family to Lijiang in Mar 2010. Is it convenient just to arrange for flights and then find tours and accommodation when we arrive in the city itself?What are the options for accomodation?Thanks

It seems possible to do like you want. BTW, are you capable of Chinese speaking? If not, you'd better arrange all the things in advance. What's more, to arrange all the things in advance can save you the time and trouble and the price should be more preferential.
