About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Hi, I am Malaysian and I would like to apply the visa (single entry) in Singapore.
1) May I know after submitting the visa application form, can I get back my passport while the visa is processing(4days)
2) COmmonly the visa take 4 days to be processed (no rush). If I apply it on 24 Sep, can I collect the visa on 30 sep, the day before the 1 week chinese holiday.
