About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Hi, I am from the UK and my company has an office in Beijing. Since October I have traveled four times for work with a multiple-entry business visa. I'm planning to take a two-week summer holiday in China and stay with a friend. I checked with the Chinese Embassy in London and they said it would be OK to travel on my business visa for a non-work trip, but they didn't say whether I need to get a temporary residence permit for a two-week holiday? If so, do I also need a medical check? Any help much appreciated.

you don't have to apply for a temporary residence permit for your tw-week holiday.
