About:Chinese Consulate in Vancouver

I want to apply for HKSAR Passport in Vancouver.

It seems that I can apply at #288 - 1388 W. Broadway, Vancouver. I have a valid Hong Kong permanent identity card and will be travelling in mid-September. I have 2 questions:

1. How long does it take to processed the passport?
2. The photo requirements are different than those of a Canadian passport. Where can I get one taken that is acceptable by your office?

Thanks.
