About:China Tourist Visa

Hi,

we are German & Italian Citizen on a Round the World Trip as Backpacker. Before we travel to Asia we will be on a Working Holiday Visa for 4-6 months in Australia.
Can we apply for the Chinese L Visa also in Australia in one of the Chinese Consulates or Embassies?? Anything special we need to consider?

We will be traveling from Tokyo to Beijing to Shanghai to Hong Kong. Did we understand correct, that for Hong Kong a 90 days Tourist Visa will be granted upon arrival?

Thanks & Best Regards,
A.

Yes, you can apply China L visa from the Chinese embassy or consulate in Australia.

Again, you're right that you are free of visa in Hongkong for less than 90 days.
